Project #9 Data Portrait

Description

Coffee is my I'm a coffee lover and for this assignment I documented all my coffee purchases for the month of November. In the table below, there are the brands of coffee shops, prices, time of purchase, and date of purchase.life! I collected the coffee I got in November.

Design Process

I use the representative colors of the different brands to label the respective coffee brands. I used circles for my morning coffee and squares for my afternoon coffee. The distance between the graphs represents the difference in price. The number of graphs represents how many cups of this brand of coffee I drank

Reflection

I've always wanted to try data visualization so I thought this assignment would be a good first step in learning how to visualize my own data. This assignment was very difficult for me, so after I finished organizing my data, I basically just followed the tutorials and was satisfied with the assignment, even though there was nothing special in terms of creativity.
